Cruise Ship Ships which operate this route: Spirit of Oceanus - 114 guests
The all-suite Spirit of Oceanus is your home at sea for 13 glorious days.  Her 50-foot beam creates extra-large interior spaces, from the beautifully appointed lounges and dining room to your own personal suite.  She is also equipped with stabilizers, which permit our open-water crossing of the Gulf of Alaska.
AN EPIC ALASKAN VOYAGE
On this cruise, you’ll delight in a day of exploration in Glacier Bay’s wildlife-rich fjords, with expert narration provided by your Exploration Leader.  You will also navigate to the very end of Tracy Arm, where the twin Sawyer Glaciers pour from the mountains to the sea.  We always cruise close to the shore, to seek puffins in Glacier Bay, seals and mountain goats in the Kenai Fjords, and whales feeding along the shoreline of Admiralty Island.

From Misty Fjords National Monument to whale-filled Frederick Sound, from the open waters of the Gulf of Alaska to the mountainous coast of the Kenai Peninsula, your Coastal Odyssey brings you an extravagant vision of Alaska’s most spectacular natural wonders.
RARE PORTS OF CALL
Small ships are perfect for exploring the out-of-the-way, and on your Coastal Odyssey you will visit ports that other cruise lines never visit – and in some cases, can’t visit.  Start with the convenience of embarking or disembarking right at the port of Anchorage.  Near the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula, you’ll explore the art galleries of Homer, and beach comb along Homer Spit.

In Southeast Alaska, the fishing village of Petersburg welcomes you with a performance by the Norwegian Leikarring Dancers.  In Sitka, admire the dozens of gold and silver Russian icons in St Michael’s Orthodox Cathedral.  You will also arrive right at Juneau’s downtown waterfront, for privileged access to the bustling downtown streets.
Across the border in British Columbia, Prince Rupert at the mouth of the Skeena River has been home to a substantial Indian community since time immemorial.

And for a grand finale, sail under the Lion’s Gate Bridge to tie up right at Vancouver’s Inner Harbour.
