Only a small ship can get you close to the glaciers that make Alaska such an awe-inspiring place.  You will travel through some of the most spectacular scenery in North America, scanning the high granite walls for mountain goats or keeping a sharp lookout for Sitka black-tailed deer.  When wildlife is spotted - on land or at sea - your captain will turn the vessel around and stop for as long as needed.  Schedules do not apply when nature puts on a show!  What better reason to go out of your way then spotting a pod of whales or seeing a family of tufted puffins nestled on an island rookery. Itinerary
Day 1  Fly to Seattle.  On arrival you will be met and transferred to the ship. Days 2-3  Relax and spend two full days cruising the Inside Passage. Day 4  Cruise the Misty Fjords before calling at Ketchikan. Day 5  Watch for whales while cruising Frederick Sound.  Later, visit glaciers tucked deep into the narrow passages of lush Tracy Arm, a remote area best accessed by small ship. Day 6  Relive the Gold Rush of 1898 in picturesque Skagway.  Just across the canal, visit Haines, known for its concentration of bald eagles.  Sitka, the original Russian Capital of Alaska, is a quaint port town within the view of a dormant volcano. Day 7  Spend a full day cruising Glacier Bay.
Day 8  Arrive in Juneau where you will disembark and spend the morning exploring this interesting city.  You will spend the night at the Goldbelt Hotel on the waterfront. Day 9  Morning transfer to the airport for your flight back to UK. Day 10  Arrive in UK.
