While Algonquin Park is Canada’s most popular canoe trip destination, few people have experienced the stunning beauty of the Park in winter.  Frozen lakes, waist deep snow, wildlife tracks, the howl of a wolf and the crisp clear air are just a few of the delights of a winter experience.  Beyond the sheer beauty, the excitement of mushing your own team of huskies or cross country skiing through the wilderness of the Almaquin trail is sure to keep you on your toes!

Accommodation is for 12 in twin rooms at the comfortable Algonquin Log Cabin Lodge located at Algonquin.  There are shared indoor washrooms, as well as a sauna and shower cabin.  Excellent meals are included.

Itinerary 
Day 1  Fly from UK to Toronto and stay at the Days Inn Toronto Downtown for one night.
Day 2  Meet at the rendezvous point for your 3½ hours transfer to the Algonquin Log Cabin Lodge where lunch awaits.  The afternoon is spent exploring Surprise Lake on snowshoes. Log cabin in winter
Day 3 After breakfast you head out on skis to the Almaquin trail with a packed lunch.  The trails are incredibly beautiful.  There is also an option for ice fishing,
Day 4  The morning is spent mushing your own team of huskies.  After a trail lunch you transfer back to Toronto for your last night.  You will arrive in Toronto at 1900.
Day 5  Fly back to the UK.

Prices per person sharing twin room for 4 nights, departures on Wednesdays and Sundays.  Single supplement available on request.

Price Includes:
1 night at the Delta Chelsea Inn on the way out and back, transfers from Toronto to Algonquin Park, meals from lunch on Day 2 to lunch on Day 4 and equipment.
Price Excludes:
Transfers from airport to Toronto, meals in Toronto, gratuities and items of a personal nature.
Other Combinations Include:
Three nights' Dog Sledding, Snowmobiling and Snowshoeing, or three nights' Dog Sledding.   Extra nights can be spent in Toronto.
