| Day 1 |
Fly to Reykjavik. On arrival transfer to your hotel in
Reykjavik (Hotel Baron or similar). |
| Day 2 |
Your car will be delivered to your hotel after
breakfast. Drive north to explore the saga valley Borgafjördur. Accommodation at
Hotel Feykholt or similar. |
| Day 3 |
Explore the Snaefellsnes Peninsula overnight at the Hotel
Reykholt or similar. |
| Day 4 |
Continue north to Skagajördur, the valley of the
horses. We recommend a stop at the turfhouse museum at Glaumbaer, overnight at
Hotel Aning or similar. |
| Day 5 |
Drive to Akureyri the northern capital of Iceland for two
night at the hotel Husavik or similar. |
| Day 6 |
Explore the beautiful Lake Myvatn area. |
| Day 7 |
We recommend a whale watching cruise in Husavik before
continuing east through impressive landscape to Egilstadir, overnight at Hotel
Hallormsstadur or similar. |
| Day 8 |
Drive along the east coast enjoying the dramatic fjord
landscape and fishing villages stay at the Hotel Vatnajökull or similar. |
| Day 9 |
Today you will have the opportunity to view Europe's biggest
glacier "Vatnajökull", the Jökulsarlon glacier lagoon, Skaftafell National
Park and the beautiful waterfalls Skogafoss & Seljalandsfoss. Accommodation
tonight will be at the Hotel Mosfell or similar. |
| Day 10 |
Visit the erupting hot springs at Geysir, the waterfalls at
Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park before returning to Reykjavik for your final
night. Drop off your car at the hotel. Accommodation will be at the hotel Baron or
similar. |
| Day 11 |
At leisure before returning to the airport for
your flight to
the UK. |
