| Day 3 |
Arrive Auckland / to Paihia. Arrive
Auckland and connect with your flight to Pahia – Bay of Islands International Airport
transfer to your hotel for two nights - breakfast included. |
| Day 4 |
Day trip to Cape Reinga and Ninety Mile
Beach. Enjoy a full day trip to Cape Reinga including a BBQ lunch.
Highlights include the drive along the Ninety Mile Beach, a walk out to the lighthouse
at Cape Reinga with its lovely views of the green Tasman Sea and the blue Pacific Ocean;
and a walk through the magnificent Puketi Forest to see the huge Kauri trees. |
| Day 5 |
Paihia to Auckland. A morning cruise to swim with
the Dolphins before driving to Auckland for two nights. |

| Day 6 |
Auckland. Enjoy a 30 minute morning cruise to
Rangitoto Island. You will have a guided tour of this extinct volcano and near the
summit you will be rewarded with 360-degree views of Auckland and the Hauraki
Gulf. Afternoon at leisure. |
| Day 7 |
Auckland to Rotorua (Marae Stay) via Waitomo.
Drive via Hamilton to Waitomo where you can enjoy either Black Water Rafting or a guided
tour of the glow-worm caves. Continue to Rotorua and your hotel for the
night. In the evening you will be taken to a Hangi dinner and concert. |
| Day 8 |
Rotorua to Taupo. Spend the morning
exploring Rotorua before departing to Taupo this afternoon visiting Waimangu Thermal
Valley en route. Walk down the Waimangu Valley which is a unique thermal and
volcanic eco-system then take scenic boat cruise on Lake Rotomanaha to see the steaming
cliffs. After this continue onto Taupo for one night. |

| Day 9 |
Taupo to Wellington. This morning
enjoy a cruise or kayaking on Lake Taupo. Lake Taupo is New Zealand’s largest lake and
used for all watersports, recreational boating and fishing. The cruise takes you
to view the historic Maori rock carvings and the kayaking is catered to your level of
experience (no previous experience required though). In the afternoon drive
through to Wellington for one night. |
| Day 10 |
Wellington to Picton to Kaikoura.
Explore the "Capital City" before making your way to the Inter-Island Ferry
terminal, returning your rental car. Depart Wellington by ferry to Picton. Enjoy
the beauty of the Marlborough Sounds as you enter into Picton. On arrival collect
your replacement rental car and drive south to Kaikoura for one night. |
| Day 11 |
 Kaikoura to Oamaru. This morning enjoy a Whale Watch Eco-Marine
cruise. A unique opportunity to view the Giant Sperm Whales in their natural
habitat. In addition to the Whales a typical trip could also see New Zealand fur seals,
dolphins, albatross, penguins and other off-shore sea birds. After the cruise,
drive south by-passing Christchurch to Oamaru where you stay at one of New Zealand’s
finest lodges for one night. Breakfast and dinner are included. At sunset
watch the Blue Penguins returning from the sea to their burrows for the night, you may
also have time to search for Yellow Eyed Penguins. |
| Day 12 |
Oamaru to Queenstown. Look at the
lovely Victorian buildings in the town before driving to Queenstown. Take a side
tour to Mount Cook Village. Two nights in Queenstown on bed and breakfast. |
| Day 13 |
Queenstown. The day is free to relax
or enjoy New Zealand’s adventure capital. Jet boating, bungy jumping, 4 wheel drives,
visits to wineries or a lake cruise are all available. |
| Day 14 |
 Queenstown to Doubtful Sound and overnight Te Anau. Breakfast at the
hotel, then begin your drive to Manapouri for your cruise on Doubtful Sound.
Travel by coach over Wilmot Pass to Doubtful Sound where you board the Catamaran for a
three hour cruise to the Tasman Sea. View the waterfalls, rainforest and
mountains, you may see the bottlenose dolphins, fur seals or the Rare Fiordland crested
Penguins. On the return trip the engines are turned off for you to enjoy the
"Sounds of Silence". Lunch is included today. Make your way back
to Te Anau to your hotel for the night. |
| Day 15 |
Te Anau to Wanaka. Today your journey
takes you back via Queenstown to Wanaka, a small town nestled on the shores of Lake
Wanaka. Take a side trip to Arrowtown, a very pretty town, located about 20
minutes north of Queenstown. Accommodation with breakfast is included. |
| Day 16 |
Wanaka to Fox Glacier. Today travel
through Mt Aspiring National Park and Haast Pass to the West Coast and Fox Glacier where
you will stay for one night, breakfast included. Enjoy a Heli-hike to Fox Glacier
in the afternoon, you will visit the ice caves and other wonderful formations below the
upper ice fall, allowing you to explore a part of the glacier that is otherwise very
difficult to get to. |

| Day 17 |
Fox Glacier to Greymouth to
Christchurch. Depart Fox Glacier and continue your drive up the picturesque West
Coast passing through small towns dotted along the way this morning. Arrive at
Greymouth and return your rental car at the Railway Station. Board the Tranz Alpine
Scenic train and depart Greymouth. The award winning Tranz Alpine train is rated
as one of the top six scenic train journeys in the world with massive viaducts,
spectacular river gorges and the stunning Waimakariri River valley. The highest
point is 737 metres at the alpine village at Arthur's Pass. Arrive Christchurch
where you will met and transferred to your hotel for the next two nights, breakfast is
included. |
| Day 18 |
Christchurch. Morning at leisure. You will
be collected for a half day cycling tour, starting with drive to Winery for lunch.
After lunch be fitted to your bikes and ride approximately 9 kilometres following roads
lined with hedges past a mixture of dairy farms and lifestyle blocks with sheep and
horses. Return to Christchurch via Otahuna Valley, past some orchards and berry
farms. This route is flat and picturesque for cycling. Lunch included today. |

Depart Christchurch / New Zealand. Day at leisure
before being transferred to the airport for your flight to London. |

Arrive in UK. |
