Set on 6,000 acres near Matauri Bay, Northland, Kauri Cliffs affords spectacular 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. Cape Brett and the offshore Cavalli Islands are part of the panorama which can be viewed from the verandas, lounge and restaurant.

The main lodge consists of a spacious beamed living room, meeting room, card room, fitness centre, spa and small computer room. Gourmet a la carte dining is available in the main dining room or on the verandas. The par 72 championship golf course measures 7,119 yards/6,510 metres and offers four sets of tees to challenge every skill level. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs, which plunge to the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland. Other amenities include two Astroturf tennis courts, an infinity swimming pool with spa and a fully equipped fitness centre. Kauri Cliffs has three secluded private swimming beaches.

Location:
By car approx. 3 hours and 45 minutes from Auckland. By helicopter or airplane approx. 1 hour. Air New Zealand operates scheduled flights daily. Charter flights can also be organized. We can make these arrangements.

Accommodation:
22 guest suites comprising of 16 Deluxe and 6 Standard suites, offer their own private porch, comfortable bedroom with sitting area and open fireplace, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. The suites are nestled on the edge of a native forest overlooking the ocean and golf course.

Local Attractions/Activities:
A variety of activities including world famous big game fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing
and hunting for boar and pheasant. Guided tours visit Ninety Mile Beach, Tane Mahuta, Puketi Kauri Forest, Historics Russell and Waitangi.
