Lake Rotoroa Lodge provides a rare chance to stay right within the spectacular alps of the South Island. Situated in the northern extremity of the Island, right on the edge of the forest fairyland of the Nelson Lakes National Park. Lake Rotoroa Lodge was built in the 1920s incorporating the style of the Victorian era. First restored in the 1980s and again during the winter of 2002 under the ownership of Shackleton International, each of the ten suites combines old style elegance with modern facilities.

A 1½ hour drive south of Nelson or a four hour drive from Christchurch.
