Location: Whare Kea Lodge is just a 7 km drive from the township of Wanaka and 1 hr 15 minutes from Queenstown. Flights from Queenstown to Wanaka are available, as are rental cars from Queenstown airport. Whare Kea also has its own helipad for direct and easy access. 
Accommodation:Whare Kea can sleep up to 12 guests in two master suites and four double rooms. Each room has its own en-suite and direct access onto the sun deck and lawns. A spacious lounge, bar, billiard room, sundeck with spa along with other outdoors areas, compliment the bedrooms. Local Attractions/Activities: Both summer and winter offer many attractions from heli-skiing and resort skiing to trout fishing, hiking and climbing, vineyard tours, cafes and shopping.
