CANOEING ALGONQUIN PARK
2, 3 or 4 nights Departures from 1 June to 10 October
Algonquin Park is one of Ontario’s oldest provincial parks covering approximately 8,000 square kilometres.  It is home to abundant wildlife including otters, beavers, racoons, chipmunks, moose, wolves, and bears.  Loons can be seen nesting on most lakes, and there are 250 species of birds in the park. Throughout the park’s vast forested interior there is a series of lakes connected by over 1,500 km of canoe-trails, portages, and streams with well-maintained campsites.  With fly-ins prohibited, motorboats restricted to only a few lakes and limited road access, the main part of the park is only accessible by canoe.  Choose from camping and canoeing for 2 or 4 nights, a 2 or 3 night lodge stay with daily canoeing, and a 4 night combination of 2 nights at the lodge and 2 nights camping.
