ARGENTINA

Argentina is a vast country – the second largest on the South American continent – and like neighbouring Chile, its longitudinal extent provides a variety of climate and landscape.  The magnificent Andean Cordilleras Range is the natural western edge and rivers separate it from Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay to the north and east, leading to the long South Atlantic coastline down to its part of Tierra del Fuego.

The diversity of areas of interest makes Argentina a destination to fascinate and enthral the visitor.  It’s summer there when it’s winter in the UK, although the favourable time to marvel at the falls at Iguazu is in their winter or spring.  Patagonia is best experienced in summer – December until March – whilst the attractions of cosmopolitan Buenos Aires may be enjoyed at almost any time, but the temperatures in spring or autumn are more comfortable.
