| Day 1 |
Fly from UK to Buenos Aires. |
| Day 2 |
Arrive in Buenos Aires for a two night stay at the Claridge
Hotel. The remainder of the day may be spent at leisure.
Note that tango shows and tango classes can be arranged during your stay in
Buenos Aires. |
| Day 3 |
A half-day tour of bustling Buenos Aires has been arranged
for today. |
| Day 4 |
Today you will fly to Salta, a city in the northwest established by the
Conquistadores in 1582. The Hotel Solar de la Plaza will be your base for three
nights. |
| Day 5 |
A full day tour will take you north, through the dramatic scenery of the
Humahuaca Gorge in the province of Jujuy. Picturesque villages, dating back to
colonial times nestle beneath the multicoloured mountains. You will also visit the
pre-Columbian fort at Tilcara built on a hill in the middle of the valley. |
| Day 6 |
Journey south through the stunning rocky landscapes of the Calchaqui
Valley and on to the historic town of Cafayate, famous for its fine wines. A visit
to a local winery will be included. |
| Day 7 |
Fly to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina’s Lake District. You
will stay at Hotel Edelweiss for three nights. |
| Day 8 |
Tour the beautiful lakes, forests and snow-capped mountains of the area. |
| Day 9 |
A day at leisure or to enjoy optional full day tours across the lakes. |
| Day 10 |
Return to Buenos Aires for two nights at the Hotel Claridge. |
| Day 11 |
A day to explore the capital city. Optional tours are available. |
| Day 12 |
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. |

Arrive in UK. |

| EXTENSION TO ESTANCIA LOS
POTREROS |
| Consider extending your tour or fly drive in Argentina
with a 3, 4 or 7 night stay at Estancia Los Potreros in Cordoba, a 6,000-acre
working cattle farm which has remained in the same Anglo-Argentine family for four
generations. The Estancia is very secluded on the top of the “Sierras Chicas”
at an altitude of 3,000 feet. |
