| EAST GREENLAND – ANGMAGSSALIK aND KULUSUK |
2 or 3 nights
Departures from mid-June to mid- August |
 |
| A holiday to Greenland can be taken on its own or as an extension
to a holiday to Iceland. The country is known for its magnificent scenery and enormous
icebergs in the Disko Bay area, the spectacular green fjords in South Greenland, dog sledding
trips in North and East Greenland and the multicoloured houses you encounter in every town
along the coast. |

| Itinerary |
East Greenland is most easily reached from Reykjavik and 1, 2, 3
and 4 night tours are available. This is an ideal addition to a holiday to
Iceland. Because of its geographical location, the village of Kulusuk and the town of
Angmagssalik/Tasiilaq are isolated in relation to the rest of Greenland and this is the
perfect destination, if you wish to experience traditional Greenlandic culture and the
original drum dance.
You will fly from Reykjavik to Kulusuk with a helicopter transfer to Tasiilaq for two nights
where optional excursions include a city walk of Tasiilaq/Ammassalik, walk to the Valley of
the Flowers, hike to view point, Iceberg boat tour, boat trip to the village of Ikateq,
helicopter flight to the Mitivagkat glacier. You will then spend one night in Kulusuk where
optional tours include a hike to the Villate of Kap Dan, drive up the mountain to the View
Point, helicopter flight to the Apusiajik glacier, |
