Canada - Maritime Provinces
The Maritime Provinces of Canada – New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Labrador and Nova Scotia are great undiscovered areas. The picturesque fishing villages, rugged coastal landscapes, wildlife and the Scottish, Native and Arcadian heritage of the region makes Atlantic Canada a perfect location for outdoor activity, wildlife viewing and sightseeing.

New Brunswick
From the exhilarating heights of the Bay of Fundy tides – one of the Marine Wonders of the World – to the magnificent white sand dunes of Bouctouche, New Brunswick is home to some of the most spectacular natural wonders in the Maritimes. The province is known for its lively cities, picturesque towns, diverse outdoor adventure, and eclectic blend of cultures.

Prince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island is Canada’s smallest province and is noted for its peaceful charm and low rolling countryside. Charlottetown is the island’s commercial centre with Victorian homes and elegant squares the city still manages to evoke the feelings of a colonial seaport. Sea kayaking is a great way to gain an alternative view of the city.
Newfoundland and Labrador
With rich history, culture and sprawling natural beauty, Newfoundland & Labrador is a big province with lots to see and do. Each year as the giant icebergs drift down the Newfoundland coast, thousands of great whales migrate north to the Newfoundland shores for the summer feeding season. Gros Morne National Park offers unrivalled opportunities for outdoor activities. If you wish to relax you can choose to stay at a light keeper’s cottage and view whales and dolphins as they pass by. With over 500 years of maritime history, Newfoundland has one of the world’s greatest collections of diveable wrecks and Conception Bay provides a fantastic base to view the underwater treasures. As well as the shipwrecks, Conception Bay is a fantastic place to see whales and icebergs, explore beaches and take in the friendly Newfoundland hospitality.

Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia is a place of remarkable natural beauty and thriving culture. Relax at Peggy’s Cove fishing village, go on a whale watching trip, tour the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island or explore one of Canada’s Seven Wonders – Pier 21 – on a Halifax tour. Late September and October are a great time to visit Nova Scotia to view the changing colours of the fall foliage, especially on a tour of the Cabot Trail.
