Holiday idea
| Day 1 | Arrive to Kiruna; you will be met by a guide and transferred to the village of Soppero where you will stay overnight in an old log building. |
| Day 2 | In the morning there will be a tour briefing and you will be fitted with warm thermal clothes. You will then start your Reindeer sled safari out into the wilderness. Your guide will give instructions on how to handle the reindeer, load and drive the sled. Everyone will drive their own reindeer sled. You will arrive at the first camp and have dinner. Accommodation will be in a Sami tent. |
| Day 3 | After breakfast you will have the chance to try some snow shoeing and ice fishing. After lunch the safari will continue and you will arrive at the next camp in the afternoon. Dinner will be enjoyed around an open fire. If you are lucky you may see the Aurora Borealis. Stay overnight in a Sami tent or reindeer herding cabin. |
| Day 4 | The safari will continue through the winter landscape. During the trip there will be a good chance of seeing tracks of ptarmigan (a type of grouse), hares, foxes and moose and with some luck even wolverines and lynx. After lunch you will continue your reindeer ride on to the tundra. You will travel higher up in the mountains where the forest trees will turn more into mountain birch and willows. Here is a panoramic view of the mountains ad the forest landscape spread out in front of you. The night will be spent at a wilderness cabin where you will have the chance to have a sauna. |
| Day 5 | After breakfast you will try some cross-country skiing on a frozen lake where there will be the opportunity to try some ice fishing. Your guide will make a fire and prepare a lunch. In the afternoon the trip will continue with reindeer and sleds to the Sami Village. Here you can enjoy a hot sauna before enjoying a Sami dinner. The night will be spent at the Sautosjohka reindeer camp. |
| Day 6 | Farewell to the reindeer and return to the airport. |
