It is said that you will never forget your first trip to Africa so it's our aim to make your holiday as memorable as possible.  From the Swahilii and Arabic word for journey, a safari holiday is like no other.  Being in the bush is thrilling and exciting - the sounds, the smells and the colours as well as the sight of wild animals in their natural habitat with take your breath away.  What you will see and experience is down to having a good safari guide who knows the terrain and animals, has sharp eyes and a lot of luck on the day.  Wild animals are just that!  They will have favourite places to hunt, drink water or relax but the ability to spot them will be down to your safari guide or spotter and his knowledge of the park.

Typically, animals are most active early morning and late evening and this is when your safari will take place.  In the heat of the day the animals will relax and you can follow suit by relaxing in your lodge or camp with a good book or shared stories over a bush lunch. Some lodges wlll offer night game drives designed to seek out nocutral animals such as leopard, lions, bushbabies, porcupines and you may even spot hippos out of the water grazing on the banks.

There's one thing you will never forget about your African experience and that is a sundowner - a glass of something chilled served against the backdrop of an unforgettable African sunset.
