Overview

Colombia with its three immense Andean Ranges, vast Inter-Andean valleys and slopes and foothills is one of the world’s most exciting destinations for trekking and walking. No matter what your level of interest or experience there is a walk of trek for everyone, allowing you to enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes.


We have a collection of mid to high mountain walks with quaint hues houses, farms and hotels at the end of each day or multi day camping treks - it all depends on your time, interest and ability.


Day by Day Itinerary


Day 1 | Bogota

Fly from UK to Bogotá where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.


Day 2 | Bogota

City tour including markets, museums and the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira.


Day 3 | Pereira

Fly to Pereira. Visit the Flora and Fauna Sanctuary before starting the trek in the Los Nevada’s National Park. 


Days 4 and 5 | Los Nevadas

Trekking in Los Nevadas. Accommodation in Inns.


Day 6 | Trekking

Continue the trek before staying in a Mountain Hacienda with private hot springs.


Day 7 | Trekking

Day at leisure to enjoy the Hacienda and surrounding mountains.


Day 8 | Coffee Region / Santa Marta

Tour of a coffee farm before flying to Santa Marta to a hotel on the beach. 


Days 9 and 10 | Santa Marta

There will be a hike in Tayrona National Park and a day to enjoy the beach.


Days 11-13 | Cartagena

Transfer to Cartagena - City tour and free time.


Cartagena is a port city on Colombia’s Caribbean coast founded in the 16th century. Explore the walled Old Town and wander through the squares, cobblestone streets and colourful colonial buildings. Head to Getsemaní for street art, less expensive restaurants and vibrant community life.


Day 14 | Depart

Fly back to the UK.
