Overview

Colombia is very diverse and its national park and protected area system is among the most extensive and unique in the world. It is one of the best places for bird watching with 1958 species recorded of which 80 are endemic to the country. We have been able to gain access to the best sites (some of which are not open to the public) to see the most interesting and rare species.


Our tours can range from daytime safaris in the Llanos (Eastern Orinoco Plains) looking for the Giant Anteater or a night time trek in the Amazonian jungle to look for nocturnal animals and insects or in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.



Day by Day Itinerary


Day 1 | Bogotá

Arrive Bogotá. Private transfer with bilingual guide from the airport to the hotel.


Overnight Hotel Sofitel Victoria Regia.



Day 2 | Bogotá

Morning at leisure. Afternoon half-day walking tour of the La Candelaria historic neighbourhood with visit to the Gold Museum.



Day 3 | Caldas (Coffee Region)

Private transfer from the hotel to the airport for your domestic flight from Bogotá D.C. to Pereira (not included). On arrival private transfer with bilingual guide from the Matecaña International airport to Nido del Cóndor.Day


Bird-watching experience around Nido del Cóndor Ecolodge, visit to finca de don Pedro and Molinos River.

Day 4 | Caldas (Coffee Region)
